Indiana Cousins

I was talking to my SIL Terri a few days before we headed north and we ascertained that our kids had matching pajamas and we didn't even plan it! Score! So, the first night we were in Indy, we tried to get some holiday photos of the kids in their pajamas. So, here are some of the Indiana cousins:

Shocking, I know - my kid wasn't interested in playing along.

We turned out a good one of these four, though.

Next up - some fireplace backdrop photos.

May I just say, taking photos of five children who are not all under the age of four is MUCH EASIER than when they are all under the age of four, aka the Dallas crew. But, it's all fun, no matter what. This photo shoot, my son, the angel that he is, was the biggest challenge.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

On the way to Indiana, there was a playscape in the terminal. This was an excellent place for LM to blow off some steam and pick up some germs before boarding the germ infested, but stifling for activity plane. Here are some photos of the fun that was had:

The good thing is...knock on cyberspace wood...as of this writing the boy is still well, different germs abounding everywhere. I hope it stays that way!  

I also realize I'm going to have to cover a little more ground than this every day or we're going to be talking about this Christmas trip to Indy until April. We'll see how I do tomorrow. Ahem.

Travel Day

So, with like half of the rest of the country, we'll be traveling today, back to our little abode. We've had a great time and I'll chronicle all of it here as I am able. But for today, we'll be packing up and saying good-bye. I hate the good-bye part a lot. Then, wrestling with a toddler on a two hour flight, praying for no delays. God bless those who fly with more than one child and/or on a longer flight!

We've made wonderful memories with our Indiana family and our boy, and another lovely Christmas is in the books. Of course, as usual, we didn't see everyone. In fact, the boy has taken to three hour long mid-day naps while we are here. So, that has greatly stifled the travel to a fro to visit with others! I guess Nana's house is quiet and comfy to him! But, we saw quite a few of our wonderful Indiana family, and that was just grand.

Christmas Miscellany

And, here is some proof of LM's 15 seconds of fame, already spent.  The Christmas concerts at work used photos of babies in the finale. We asked everyone on staff and in the orchestra and chorus to send some in. I then sent them on, with this photo of LM from last year, to the video producers. When I saw the slideshow for the first time, LM was the last baby, appearing on both screens. Of course I have taken quite a bit of ribbing for this, since everyone thinks I rigged it or something. The thing is, I didn't. I REALLY didn't. He's just that cute. And, well, he has a Santa hat on. So there you go. Here are some photos I took after the last show:

The two sides are mirrors of one another, really.

You can tell here the scale of the screens - people sit in those seats with railings on them...and that tree is like a gazillion feet tall. So, he was up in the air, big ol' face for sure.
