Hanging in the Park

One fine weekend day in November, we spent some time together out at a park nearby. The weather was just a little bit cool, but sunny, and we had such a nice time being outdoors and hanging out together. Here are some photos:

LM loves to play "football" - which means he gets down in a football stance, and the ball is thrown. Then, you run aorund and around until some point where you throw the ball again, and get tired from running.

A Party at Nonna and Papa's Church

A few weekends back - in NOVEMBER (gasp) - Nonna and Papa's church had a community celebration. We stopped by for a few minutes, and LM had a nice time. Here are some photos:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Wishing you and yours a lovely holiday. We are a blessed family, with so much to be thankful for, and I hope we can reflect on that today as we spend time with Indiana family. This is a strange holiday for us to be in Indy - we usually spend it in Dallas - so this will be a special time.

SMU Football

We made it to a smidgen of SMU football this fall. We (I should say I ) are not like some of our friends that like to go every single weekend...we attend on an ad hoc basis. And, given the way I have felt this fall, that attendance has been even smaller than normal. That said, we did make it to a game or two, and here are some photos to prove it:

Star of the Week

Toward the end of October and the beginning of November, LM was "Star of the Week" in his class at school. As Star of the Week, the kids get to bring in a poster board that tells something about them, answer some questions about themselves, bring in their favorite book, and be the line leader whenever they go somewhere, among other things I don't know about. LM was very excited to be the Star. During this time S, was at home, and he and LM devised a cracker jack plan to really make his poster stand out. S found sound and lights to add to the poster, and we took these photos of LM in all sorts of dress-up outfits to put on the poster:
