Fun on Lake Monroe

Back to Indiana...when we were there back in August, Unk arranged for us to go out on Lake Monroe for some swimming and fishing. LM really wanted to go fishing, so Unk said he would take him. The day started out a little chilly, but the clouds burned off fairly quickly and the weather was perfect. The kids had a blast, and so did the adults! It was a really great day:

We did get in the water - once you got used to the temperature, it wasn't bad!

Toward the end of our time on the water, we tried some fishing.

 

It was a really, really nice day with family. Such fun! So glad Unk invited us to go along!
