Right after school started this fall for the big kids, LM and I took an opportunity to check out the zoo together again. It was totally empty! There was at least 45 minutes before we saw anyone. So, it was nice to check out the zoo without the crowds. We wanted to see the new baby ocelot, and of course, we took a turn at the children's area/babbling brook before we left. It was still pretty hot - but not bad until just before we left.

And then I failed to keep him awake on the way home.
Which resulted in a bad nap day. Oh well.
