Autumn at the Arboretum

S, LM and I went over to the Dallas Arboretum to meet his playgroup on Saturday. Let me rephrase that. It started out as a playgroup outing, but by the time we made it to Saturday morning, there were only LM and his friend Brent left in attendance. It was Yom Kippur, some people were confused about what weekend they were going out of town, some others were sick, etc etc. So, it was more of a play "duo". We took the opportunity to take some photos of the boy in the pumpkins. Here are the highlights:

This year, we didn't have to prop the boy up ON the pumpkins. 

Heh heh.

And this year, he has green shoes. 

So of course we wore them. 

This year he could HOLD the pumpkins.


And climb on and in the pumpkins.




Further proof they aren't related.
At all.


The boy picked up pumpkins and relocated them.


Using various techniques...


...and time tested ones too.


Pumpkins, it turns out, also make excellent drums.


And, when there are pumpkins to play with, the boy is NOT interested in posing with Mommy.








Seriously, was he the only one doing any work?




Later, still not too interested in posing with Mommy.




But he DOES like to give his Mama kisses. So sweet!
