The Mall Playground

It's hard to believe this, given it was almost 80 yesterday and will be again today, but last Saturday it was so cold, wet and blustery, the only thing to do was be indoors. We decided to go to the mall for a while to just get out of the house. It was packed with the other thousands of people thinking the same thing.

We headed over to the mall "playground" - you've seen LM play here before - there is no "playground" at this mall officially, but this area, with the curved walls, turtles and ducks is quite possibly the coolest play area anywhere. And kids just get it - no need for instructions! I had the purse camera with me, so the photos mostly came out like cruddy, but here are a couple of the fun:

LM was talking to every kid there. Some of the kids were like, "Who the heck are you?" This did not deter him from greeting everyone and trying to engage them in play. I think he has my dad's "know no stranger" gene. At least it's looking like he might...

Gotta have some water after all that work!
