S, LM and I went to check out the Gaylord's ICE! exhibit just before Thanksgiving. We had never been before, but had heard good reviews from years past, so we decided to check it out. Let me say that place is HUGE! We parked in the designated place, and it was probably a mile walk to the exhibit. This year's theme was the Nutcracker. It was a cool exhibit, but we used a half-off coupon to go. I'm not sure I would pay full price, but I think that might be more because I'm a cheapskate, and it's expensive! Here are some photos:
At first, I'm not sure LM knew what we were up to.
In fact, they do a "group photo" and he was crying in it.
We should have bought it for the memory, but we did not.
But we got to the ice, he loved it.
(except for the slides - you'll see)
All of this stuff was made of ice - all of it!
Pretending to be toy soldiers!
S and LM tried the ice slide, but LM had a fit, as you can see!
There was a screen where you were broadcast like you were in Times Square.
S tried to get a photo of us. I apparently couldn't keep my eyes open!
The Nativity was the last part of the exhibit.
On our way back to the car, we checked out some of the hotel decorations.
Me and my preggo belly that looks a bit more like fat than baby when I'm sitting down.
Probably because it WAS more fat than baby at that point. Gah!
Fun family time, for sure.
See you soon.
