A couple of weekends ago, we went down to the Chinese New Year celebration at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. We arrived just as the festivities were beginning - they went on all day, but we had some other stuff going on later in the day, so we caught the very start. I understand it got really busy later on, so perhaps we were there at the best time! Here are some photos of our time there:
It is the year of the horse...so they had a petting zoo of horses!
They had some very cool souvenir booths.
We did not souvenir, but LM liked checking this out for a moment.
Photo op.
Leaning back with a big belly - um, not so flattering.
Genes in action - geez, do they stand just alike or what?
Coolest part - the dragon parade and dance...
These were short dragons - kids!
The stage was surrounded with people by the time we followed them over there.
It was a cool event, and I'm glad we went down to check it out.
See you soon.
