Signs of Spring

This pretty little vine was blooming out all over the other day, so I had to take some photos. It grows on the side of my house near the driveway, so I pass it in the morning on my way to the car. It doesn't seem much like spring is nigh this week, so I thought this might tame your winter blues:

Andrew Turns 4!

Last weekend, Andrew turned 4 years old with a Super Hero birthday party! S and LM went to the festivities, and S took these photos with my small camera. I was in Arkansas for another birthday celebration that I'll chronicle later on. For today - photos of the super heros!

LM was so excited to wear his super hero outfit!

Of course, Super Heroes have to eat!

Apparently, the backyard was filled with a super hero obstacle course.

Which included some silly string!

And, I understand there was a tightrope. I heard through the grapevine that S rocked the tightrope - he was the best "kid" at that skill. Ahem.

Nonna and Papaw were there, of course!

Batman cupcakes were well received, it appears!

S and LM report Andrew received some very nice gifts.

It looks like a fun time was had by all. Hard to believe this little guy is already four. Time flies!

Super Hero App

I downloaded an app on my phone that LM calls the "Super Hero" app. It allows him to "create" comic strips about super heroes and color pictures of superheros. Usually, while we wait for food at a restaurant, this is what he wants to spend time doing. I snapped these while my boys played with my phone the other night:

LM is into monochromatic color schemes.

He will color it all one color and then switch to color it all a different color.

Not sure what S was looking at...

Progress

We have a new sewage line! Never in a million years would I think writing those words would give me such joy! Here are some photos of the progress made to get us there. If you'll remember the before shots, you will see we made great progress throughout last week.:

There is the new main run down the hill!

The new cleanout near the house.

And my black loafer. You'll see all my shoes before this is over!

The city had to come by and do the rest...you'll see in a couple of photos they did!

The next day it rained, but they still made progress!
