Indy Wrap-Up

Just a few more photos from our time in Indy at the holidays - some from a great time we had with Unk and Bevi, Lori and Isaiah:

My mom made these little ham sandwiches for dinner that were delicious, and Unk brought some dip that you put on those little pieces of bread that was tasty too!

Even the little ones like to play with technology

The boys played together for a while!

This get together was on New Year's Eve

So we celebrated with the kids at 10pm 

We all were drinking sparkling grape juice

We took some photos of Nana with her grandchildren

Then the more realistic one. Ahem.

Then Cora started taking photos of LM, LM obliged with funny faces

OK, then we went out one last time in the snow:

Yep, that one hit me.

LM used Grandpa's car for a target.

He hated when I made him wear both hats at once.

But it was cold, and one was warmer and one went over his ears.

I love this one.

And that's pretty much a wrap. Fun times, good memories.

Hey, Let's Play SUPERHERO!

LM received some superhero dress up clothes from Nana for Christmas. Here are some photos we had with them before leaving Indy:

After getting dolled up for the first time, S showed him what he looked like in the mirror.

Then they headed to the kitchen to show Nana.

And of course, it's important for a super hero to fly!

He also received this cool knight uniform, which he likes, but maybe not as much as the superhero.

Superheros are hard to top.

Of course, a superhero with a sword and shield would be one way to top it...

At a get together with Unk and Lori and families, Gibson also got into the action!

My little superhero, indeed.

More Snow!

We went outside later in our visit to Indy while it was actually snowing, so LM could experience that and get a hands on understanding of where the snow came from. And, since the snow was wet as it was coming out of the sky, it made it better to manipulate. So, LM and S made a snow bunny too, with a little help from Nana:

There was, as you will remember, already plenty of snow...

We had to go out and get S a new hat. 

He wasn't prepared for this much cold.

S once again tried to show LM how to make a snow angel.

LM said, "No, I'll make some snow knees." 

On to the snow bunny - you will see it was rolling like carpet.

Very packable.

The other days, the temperature had dried out the snow after it fell, and it was like powder. Not packable at all. So, this was a welcome turn of events, as LM really wanted to try to make a snowman.

I did not have appropriate footwear.

The snow was really coming down.

Yes, he threw that snowball. At me.

Thanks to Nana, we had some buttons and a scarf for the bunny.

Oh, he looks cold!

Ah, there we go, the boys and the snow bunny!

LM was pretty proud of the finished product.

OK, and then, here are a couple of me and the boy.

We decided maybe it was time to go inside and warm up!

But we had fun while it lasted.
