Two Mondays Ago - Memorial Day

As usual, we went out for the wonderful Memorial Day festivities at Flagpole Hill. Amongst the patriotic revelry, there were moments of silence and remembrance suitable and appropriate for the holiday, which was special. And, they honored the veterans in attendance as well. Here are some photos:

First - food - from one of LM's faves - Bubba's!

Then some kite flying! there was a nice breeze.

Then that was over...and we were on to something else.

Something else briefly included climbing between chairs backstage.

And at the very end - fireworks! But, I didn't photograph those, because by then I was too tired to take the effort to do that. I assure you they were fun and beautiful. It was another good Memorial Day on the hill.
