Our Little Family Christmas

Last Sunday, S, the Little Man and I sat down to exchange our Christmas gifts since we won't be in Dallas on the actual day. There are a couple of gifts that haven't made it here yet, so those will come later. But, this is most of it. It was a special time for us as a little family of three. After we exchanged gifts, we made breakfast together and then we all took a mid-day nap. It was pretty perfect. Here are some photos:

First - a week or so ago he opened this.

A latch puzzle. He loves playing with it.

First up last Sunday...

...some books!

He's really into books right now. 

He loved them.

Then, some Super Hero Little People!

Wonder Woman, Super Man, some lesser players.

Next up - the Prismatic!

This crazy stick that emits light. He loved it too.

Then there came HIS drum.

He was patient but couldn't wait to get his hands on it.

Oh YEAH! He loves it!

Shake Shake Shake!

While LM kept on with the drum, S opened his gifts - some cologne, a head lamp (which he is always saying he wants) a cloth for his iPad (for fingerprints, etc), a travel scale for luggage, a sweater and a gift card to go purchase more clothes at Joseph A Bank, his favorite place on the planet these days. 

Then the Little Man opened a few gifts from other people.

A cute outfit from Joseph was in that box.

A hammering toy from Sophie and a Ronnie the Rocketship from Sadie!

A very cute bear and coordinating book from Ms. Karen!

Then I opened some camera related gifts.

That gadget will hook onto your camera strap and hold onto your lens cap. I am always losing my lens caps, so that should be handy. I also was the recipient of two new lenses! Those will be fun to try out.

LM was putting his steps tool away after helping Daddy make biscuits.
