Plano Balloon Festival

The boy and I went to the Plano Balloon Festival last Friday night with Kim and her girls, and we ran into Brooke and Michael and kids while we were there. I rented a lens last weekend, and the balloons are very enticing. That's my excuse for having taken over 400 - yes 400! - photos at this one event. Don't worry - I'll just pick a few to share with you here:

We arrived early enough to see a 6pm launch.
The ReMax balloons took off first.


And some skydivers dropped in too!






The kids had a dinner picnic, thanks to Aunt Kim.




























Then we decided to stay, if the kids held up, for the the after dark burn.
So, we headed down the way to check out the sights.




Just after this we ran into the rest of the cousins!
