A 40th Anniversary

S and his brothers planned and executed a surprise 40th Anniversary party for his parents last weekend. It was a lovely event for a lovely couple, and they were actually surprised! When does THAT happen? The group shots and most of the crowd shots were done by Carol Hensley. I highly recommend her if you're looking for a family or party photographer. She was great. I took the "no flash" shots. OK, on to the party:

The party was upstairs at Maggianos.

The tables were decorated with copies of photos taken at their wedding and over the last forty years. It was a great idea, inexpensive, and people LOVED looking at the photos. They were good conversation starters, too. The actual centerpieces were provided by the restaurant.

I'm not real sure, however, what the rally arm is up to. Ahem.

It was a good day.
